We are really pleased to see the vast majority of our year 10s return to school safely this week, we have missed you so much. All the staff were impressed with how hard you worked but keep logging into your remote learning in FROG. Have a good weekend and we can’t wait to see you again next week.
Parents of year 10 students, this is to confirm the school is open for face to face teaching next week. We are very much looking forward to welcoming back your child on their designated day.

Over the last 5 weeks members of the SCC school band have uploaded video performances of themselves playing along to a Beatles backing track created by Mr Ferry (in respect to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles breaking up). Students had been rehearsing this pre-lockdown in preparation for a Summer Concert, which is now sadly not going to happen. Please click the link below to view the performance on Facebook 🙂

You may be aware that on 11th May, the Government set out guidance for a possible return to school on 1st June for Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 10 and Year 12 pupils, if it is deemed to be safe to do so.
We would like to reassure all parents and carers that we will act in line with the Government’s advice, and that the health and wellbeing of your daughter or son is our top priority. If your child is in one of the year groups outlined for a phased return to school on 1st June we will be writing to you individually to explain how this will be done safely and how we will support your family.
We appreciate this is an anxious time for everyone, please be assured any move toward a wider opening of school whenever that is, will be done cautiously and carefully. See below a link to the latest guidance for parents and carers from the Department of Education
